Tibor Kalman

The "bad boy" of graphic design.

"Rules are good. Break them."

Tibor Kalman aimed to
"communicate"
not just sell.

Kalman considered his recent exhibit
"Tiborocity: Design and Undesign"
at SFMOMA (7/1999-10/1999)
his last testament.

Died on May 5, 1999,
at age 49,
after a four-year battle with
non-Hodgkins lymphoma
